Following the September debut of the ‘new look’ Gourmet Traveller and ‘Set Menu’ podcasts, Gourmet Traveller has teamed up with the gift card experts Edge for the launch of the Gourmet Traveller Restaurant Card.
Hitting retail shelves throughout October and November, in time for Christmas, the gift card can be purchased at gourmettravellergiftcard.com.au or at selected retailers starting with Woolworths, and coming to major retailers and participating Newsagents throughout November
Bauer Media General Manager Fashion, Luxury, Food and Homes Fiorella Di Santo said: “As Australia’s premier food, travel and lifestyle brand, audiences look to Gourmet Traveller for advice on Australia’s newest and best restaurants.
“The Gourmet Traveller Restaurant Gift Card leverages the trust consumers have in this brand to take the guesswork out of choosing a gift for people that are passionate about food and the places it takes them.” Edge General Manager, Benoit Linossier said:
“This is an extremely exciting adventure for Edge to partner with Gourmet Traveller to give customers a gourmet experience. What better gift to give family and friends, clients and colleagues than a slice of Australian gourmet dining at its finest. We fundamentally believe in gifting moments that are memorable, that are personal, and that only become more valuable over time.”
The Gourmet Traveller Gift Card can be used at participating restaurants nation wide.
“We have had a great response from restaurants who want to partner with the Gourmet Traveller brand. These restaurants are all profiled on our website so people can decide where they’d like to go when they receive the card from family or friends,” added Di Santo.
As part of the marketing activity for the new gift card, Gourmet Traveller has launched a social media campaign, where chefs from participating restaurants talk about what eating out means to them.
Owner and Chef Grossi Restaurants, Guy Grossi commented: “Eating out means coming together with family and friends to share and create memories. Some of my best memories are those around a dinner table in Melbourne’s beautiful dining spaces.”
